Boone County Health Center welcomed the 2009 New Years Baby at 9:24 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009.
A daughter, Gemma Johanna Miller, was born to Bethany and Brandon Miller of Elgin at BCHC. She weighed six pounds, 13 ounces, and was 19 inches long.
Gemma and her parents will receive a list of gifts from Albion area businesses.
Gemma’s grandparents are Duane and Vicki Miller of Elgin, Del Larson of Pierce and the late Johanna Larson.
Great grandmothers are Lavaughne (Lou) McKay of Elgin, Edna Wilkinson of Oakdale, NE, and Shirley Larson of Concordia, KS.
