Charles D. “Chuck” Reicks

Charles Dean Reicks, 55, of Petersburg, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at his home in Neligh. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Petersburg with Fr. Stan Schmit officiating. Burial was held in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.

Colonel Kermit Herbert Rosenberg

Colonel Kermit Herbert Rosenberg,  93, of Alexandria, VA, died on  Dec. 25, 2008 at the Capital Hospice – Halquist Memorial Inpatient Center in Arlington, VA. A memorial service was held at Messiah Lutheran Church in Alexandria where he was a member. A military funeral at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Signa Iiams

Signa Iiams, 91, of Wahoo, formerly of Columbus, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at the Saunders County Medical Center in Wahoo. Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus with the Rev. Timothy White officiating.  Interment was held in the Columbus Cemetery.

Arlow H. Tschudin

Arlow H. Tschudin, 86 of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Jan 4, 2009 at Midlands Community Hospital in Papillion.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids with Rev. Brian Ketelsen officiating.  Burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Dan Cox Post #44.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Levander Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids.
