Albion’s city retail sales tax receipts showed a decline in November 2008 as compared to November 2007.
This was the first month that 2008 receipts had declined from the previous year.
The city’s November sales tax receipts totaled $30,121, a decline of $3,585 or 10.6 percent from the November 2007 total of $33,706.
The November total also showed a 30 percent decline from the October 2008 total receipts of $44,557.
