Boone Central FFA plans FFA Week events

Boone Central High School’s FFA Chapter is planning several special events and activities to celebrate National FFA Week next Monday through Friday, Feb. 23-27.

On Monday, Feb. 23, the chapter is holding FFA “Fear Factor” contest involving many teachers as their guests.

On Tuesday, the members will drive their “ugly” pickups to school to be judged by a committee of experts.

Wednesday brings tractors from the fields to the streets for “Tractor Day” to demonstrate pride in the red, green, or blue!

On Thursday, the chapter will be serving a pancake supper to all those who support the chapter in their endeavors. They are inviting the entire community to attend.

The animals come to town on Friday, Feb. 27, to take part in the children’s barnyard. Members will being their farm animals to share with the elementary students and all youth within the community.
