Steven D. Wallick

Steven D. Wallick, 50, of Fisher, IL, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009 at Carle Hospital, Urbana, IL. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 1 at the Fisher United Methodist Church.  Rev. Bruce Weimann officiated.  A Celebration of Life service will be held on March 8 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Albion.

Thomas J. Watts

Thomas Joseph Watts, 52, of Cedar Rapids, died on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009 at his home. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 27 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Fr. Ralph Steffensmeier officiated. Burial was held in the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Dorothy Eileen Channer, 82, died on Feb. 21, 2009 at Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at the United Methodist Church in Belgrade. Pastor Vern Olson officiated. Burial was held in the main cemetery, Belgrade.

Helen Irene Nelson, 84, of Lincoln, formerly of Columbus and Albion, died on Friday, Feb. 27, 2009. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 2 at Immanuel-Zion Lutheran Church, rural Albion. Rev. Larry Sydow officiated. Burial was held at the South Branch Cemetery, rural Albion.
