Boone Central senior Stephanie Paulson was selected to the Class C1 All-State 2nd team by the Omaha World-Herald this past weekend and a number of Cardinal and area players received all-state honorable mention by Nebraska’s largest daily newspapers.
Paulson, daughter of Steve and Nancy Paulson, was a member of the Mid-State All-Conference team after leading Boone Central in scoring and rebounding during the Lady Cardinals’ 21-3 season that ended in the first round of the 2009 Nebraska Girls State Basketball Tournament. Paulson was also honorable mention in the Lincoln Journal-Star and was named to the Grand Island Independent’s All-Heartland 2nd team.
