Boone Central’s presentation of The Sound of Music attracted an audience of more than 525 people for two performances last Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, March 28-29.
Two of the main characters for Sunday’s performance (above) were Kevin Carder as Captain von Trapp and Erin Grundmayer as Maria Rainer.
Several main cast members were changed for the two shows. This year’s musical included 40 students in the cast, 15 students as stage managers and crew, an orchestra of 10 students and three adults. Other students and adults were involved as scenery painters, and in costuming, makeup, ticket management and program design. Dawn Bussey and Lonnie Zrust were the directors.
