Peter “Pete” Joseph Baumgartner, 72, of Petersburg, died Friday, April 3, 2009 at his home west of Petersburg. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Petersburg. Fr. Stan Schmit officiated. Burial was held in the Parish Cemetery with military rites conducted by American Legion Post #334 of Petersburg.

Michelle “Shelly” Karmann, 44, of Albion, died Sunday, April 5, 2009 at her home near Albion. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Fr. Stan Schmit officiated. Burial was held at Sunrise Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.

Edith C. Fox, 94, of Albion, died Thursday, April 2, 2009 in Denver, CO.  Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8 at the Levander Funeral Home in Albion. Rev. Larry Sydow officiated. Burial was held at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion.

Orville D. Robinson

Orville D. Robinson, 76 of Cedar Rapids, died on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Fr. Ralph Steffensmeier will officiate. wil burial in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Levander Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids.
