Zoucha Selected For Shrine Bowl

Kalvin ZouchaBoone Central senior Kalvin Zoucha has been selected to participate in the 51st Annual Nebraska Shrine Bowl football game Saturday, July 25, at Lincoln’s Memorial Stadium.
The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Zoucha was a team captain and special teams MVP for the Cardinals during the 2008 season. He led Boone Central with 26 receptions for 304 yards and three TDs. Defensively, Zoucha was in on 60 tackles, including 29 unassisted. He recorded 2.5 sacks and intercepted three passes. He also averaged 35.6 yards as the Cardinal punter.
Zoucha will play for the North team in the Shrine Bowl, led by Head Coach Mark Brahmer of 2008 Class C1 state champion Pierce.
