William (Bill) D. Berglund

William (Bill) D. Berglund, 90, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Society in Albion. Funeral services were Saturday, April 18 at the United Methodist Church in Albion with Rev. K.F. Kaleuati officiating. Burial was held at the Schuyler Cemetery.

Thomas Joseph Reeder

Thomas Joseph Reeder, 68, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 20 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Fr. Ralph Steffensmeier officiated.  Burial was held at the parish cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids or the scholarship fund set up for students from Cedar Rapids High School pursuing a diesel mechanic degree from Southeast Community College in Milford.

Rosemary Mlady

Rosemary Mlady, 82, of Cedar Rapids, died  on Monday, April 13, 2009 at her home in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 18 at the Levander Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. Pastor Vern Olson officiated with burial at the Dublin Cemetery in Primrose.

Oda Virginia Fleek

Oda Virginia Fleek, 86, died in Eureka, CA on April 4, 2009. A funeral mass was held at St. Bernard Catholic Church on Monday, April 13 at 1:30 p.m. Graveside services were held at Ocean View Cemetery.

Barbara J. Dufek

Barbara J. Dufek, 79, of St. Edward, formerly of Schuyler, died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at Cloverlodge Care Center at St. Edward.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22 at St. Edward Catholic Church, St. Edward. Fr. Jim Novotny officiated. Burial will be held at Schuyler Cemetery with a 1:30 p.m. graveside service.
