Boone County farmers joined many others throughout Nebraska in making good progress on planting corn and soybeans last week. This photo was taken southeast of Albion last Thursday, April 23. The pace was slowed by cooler temperatures and rainfall over the weekend. Corn planting progress was estimated at 15 to 20 percent in Boone County early this week.
