Dean W. Kerkman, 65, of Newman Grove, died at his home on Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 1 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindsay. Fr. James Novotny officiated. Burial was held at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Elgin.

Theola Elaine Froistad, 81, of Albion, died Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Cloverlodge Care Center, St. Edward. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 2 at Levander Funeral Home in Albion. Pastor Kurt Kinney officiated. Burial was held in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Joan I. Sutton Taylor, 79, of Central City, died at Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital on Tuesday, April 28, 2009.  She will be cremated and have private family services.

Matthew Thomas Chambers

Matthew Thomas Chambers, 30, of Wahoo, died April 29, 2009. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the West Center Chapel to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Omaha for Mass at 11 a.m.  Interment was held at Resurrection Cemetery, Omaha.
