Francis H. Braun 

Francis Hubert Braun, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, May 29, 2009 at Friendship Villa Nursing Home, Spalding. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. Mgsr. Ralph Steffensmeier officiated. Burial was held in the Parish Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Dan Cox American Legion Post #44 of Cedar Rapids.

Julia Brown 

Julia Brown, 101, of West Point died Friday, June 5, 2009 at Good Samaritan Villas in Scribner. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 9 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point. Reverend Frank Lordemann served as celebrant. Burial was held at St. Michael’s Cemetery.

Benedicta Mary Hendrickson

Benedicta Mary Hendrickson, 95, of Spalding, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Friendship Villa in Spalding. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 4, 2009 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Jim Murphy and Fr. Joe Hannappel officiated. Burial was held at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery at Spalding.
