Six proposals for wind fields are on a “short list” of finalists, according to Nebraska Public Power District, but the utility won’t yet divulge which six are up for final consideration.
NPPD announced last Friday it has narrowed the list of potential sites under consideration for wind generation development near the communities of Petersburg and Broken Bow, NE. The effort is part of NPPD’s plan to meet a strategic goal of generating 10 percent of its energy from renewable resources by 2020.
