After being idle for an extended period, the Cedar Rapids Locker in Cedar Rapids is now back in operation.
Brian Yosten purchased the locker plant in June of 2008 and spent several months looking for an individual or group to purchase it from him.
“I did not want to have someone buy the locker and liquidate the equipment,” said Yosten. “Then, Cedar Rapids would more than likely never have a locker again.”
By December, 2008, Maynard Pelster had made a commitment to purchase the locker, but needed a partner in the business. Brian then committed to the partnership. The two formed a limited liability company and made plans for equipment and operations.
