Competition matched the hot weather Sunday during the Boone County Fair Sand Volleyball Tournament. The team of Luettel, Temme, Jason Zabka, Jessi Mazour, Kyle Larson and Mandi Michael defeated a squad comprised of Adam and McKenzie Flanagan, Tony Gragert, Stacy Krohn, Craig Gragert and Tina Krohn, advancing from the losers’ bracket and winning two straight matches in the final round.
