Conrad L. Bliemeister

Conrad L. Bliemeister, 93, of Hooper, NE, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at his home. Memorial Mass was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 31, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Hooper. Private burial was held at St. Michael’s Cemetery in West Point. His family lived at Loretto and Albion early in his life.

Kenneth E. Nygren

Kenneth Edwin Nygren, 92, of Susanville, CA, died July 20, 2009, in Susanville. A memorial service will be held in September in Sonora, CA. He was born near St. Edward in 1916, and graduated from Albion High School at age 15.

Gary A. Taylor

Gary Allen Taylor, 66, of Albion, died Monday, July 27, 2009, at Boone County Health Center in Albion. Funeral services were held Friday, July 31, at the First Baptist Church in Albion. Burial was in West Cedar Valley Cemetery at Elgin.

Beverly P. VanDeWalle

Beverly Pearl VanDeWalle, 64, of Columbus, died Sunday, July 26, 2009, at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 29, at Zion Lutheran Church in Albion. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion. She grew up in Albion and was a graduate of Albion High School.

Dr. Robert Lee Watson

Dr. Robert Lee Watson, 77, died July 19, 2009, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services were held Friday, July 24, 2009, from the chapel of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home, Highland Colony. Burial was in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Albion, on July 28, 2009.
