New superintendent focusing on positives

The Grand Island native and first-time superintendent brings 12 years of education experience to his new position. He said he considers himself fortunate to be in position to build on the school district’s past successes.

“This is a very progressive school district, and the communities have been very supportive. I realize how many great things we already have going for us here in technology, academics and activities,” he said. “I want the district to be as good as it can be.”

Classes begin Monday, Aug. 17, for the new school year at Boone Central.
