What do you get when you mix excellent barbecued meat and vegetables with fun games, entertainment, wine and beer tasting, and happy winners? You get a successful event: “Petersburg’s Bash in the Burg.”
An estimated 250 to 300 people attended all the days’ festivities last Saturday, Aug. 15.
There were many games for children and adults. A dunk tank was a popular event. Several locals ended up in the water, and some of them were ‘dunked’ almost 40 times during their time slot. A Bounce House provided by Sentinel Building Systems entertained the children.
