There were plenty of “Good News” items for discussion at the Sept. 8 meeting of the Petersburg Community Club.
Among the items discussed were plans for the wind farm, the new housing subdivision, and installation of new camper pads in the city park.
Last month’s “Bash in the Burg” went very well and raised about $5,000 for the new electronic community sign. Members of the NCIP Leadership Committee said they would like to continue this as an annual fund-raiser.
Planning is underway for the Punkin Chunkin’ event in October.
