Nebraska Fur Harvesters (NFH) held a successful statewide convention at the Boone County Fairgrounds Friday through Sunday, Sept. 25-27.
The total admission count on Friday and Saturday was 400 people.
Attendance was somewhat smaller than usual because of the current economic recession and low fur prices, but NFH leaders said they were very pleased with the fairgrounds and camping facilities, and the community of Albion.
“I had a lot of compliments on the facilities and the town,” said Jason Reynoldsen of Albion, an NFH officer who helped to organize and stage the 39th annual convention.
