On Thursday, Sept. 17, the Nebraska 4-H Foundation held its fifth annual Pulling for 4-H sporting clays fund-raiser at the Oak Creek Sporting Club near Brainard. There were 105 shooters from across Nebraska who took part,
The shoot helped raise over $10,000 for Nebraska 4-H Clubs and camps.
The champion individual shooter, shooting 56 out of 60 targets, was Butch Allen of Ainsworth. First place required a tie-breaker and Dustin Heins of Columbus was runner-up shooting 56 of 60, and third place went to Marvin Koch of Petersburg, who shot 55 of 60 targets.
