Boone Central Harriers Continue Success

Schilousky (left), Koziol after positionBoone Central’s cross country teams continued to build momentum for the upcoming district meet with impressive performances Thursday in the traditionally tough York Invitational.
Cardinal freshman Cassidy Pribnow notched her first high school girls title and senior Kevin Carder just missed the boys individual championship after a scintillating duel with York standout Alex Adams.
“I was really pleased with things again in this meet,” commented BC Coach Tom Dickey. “I’m seeing improvement throughout the team and their attitudes are exceptional. They seem to get more confident in their abilities each week. Pribnow, who equaled the Albion/Boone Central all-time best last week, turned in the school’s second-fastest York meet time ever, winning the girls race in 15:58. Carder also had the second-fastest Cardinal time ever on the York course with his 16:46 second-place finish. Boone Central (60) finished fourth in the team standings behind York (21), GINW (40) and Omaha Skutt (41).
