Stephen Twiss, a Central City attorney, was named interim Boone County Attorney by the County Commissioners Tuesday. His law partner, Stephen Curry of Central City, was named interim Deputy County Attorney.
Twiss is already familiar with Boone County, having provided services here when outgoing County Attorney David Medlin was on vacation. Medlin’s last day in the position was Tuesday, Oct. 13.
