Card Harriers Continue Impressive Run

Cassidy Pribnow (right) on the moveBoone Central’s cross country teams had individual runners place in the top three of each division Friday in the annual combined Bloomfield Invitational/Mid-State Conference Meet at Bloomfield.
Senior Kevin Carder finished third in the Mid-State portion of the event and fourth overall while freshman Cassidy Pribnow took second in the Mid-State and fifth in the overall meet. Both runners posted times among the best in school history.
“It was another exceptional day – great weather, great competition and great response by our runners,” commented Cardinal Coach Tom Dickey.  Carder’s performance, in an all-time Boone Central best 16:37, led Boone Central to third place in the Mid-State standings and fourth in the overall Bloomfield meet.
Calvin Koziol finished 12th in the Mid-State in 18:06 and Brody Kelley was right behind in 13th with an 18:13 clocking. Bryce Schilousky was 15th in the conference at 18:36, Jacob Lindgren 18th in 18:51 and Cody Mangus 21st in 19:06.
Pribnow clocked the #2 time on Boone Central charts (15:46) in her runner-up Mid-State finish. Cassie Lindgren placed 17th in the conference portion of the race (18:34).
