It has been a frustrating fall for farmers, but harvest conditions appear to be improving this week.
More rainfall and wet fields last week continued to slow progress in the Boone County area and most of Nebraska.
However, the forecast for dryer and warmer conditions this week should allow more farmers to get back into the fields. The forecast indicates only a slight chance of rainfall through Sunday, Nov. 8.
