An estimated 35 to 40 contractors and vendors, including many from the Boone County area, attended a pre-bid meeting on the Boone County Courthouse renovation project last Thursday, Nov. 5, at the courthouse.
Requirements and plans for the project were laid out during the meeting and courthouse walk-through conducted by Beckenhauer Construction, the general contractor and construction manager.
Bids will be opened next Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. in the courthouse. Beckenhauer will review the bids and return with a list of recommended bids to the county board’s review and approval.
