As an Eagle Scout project, Miles Wynn of Albion (back center) recently completed a new kiosk for the Olson Nature Preserve in Boone County. Friends helping him with the installation last Saturday at ONP were (front, l. to r.) Angela and Lori Hosford, Dale Bonge and Todd Wynn, and (back row) Paul and William Hosford, Alec Wynn, Drew Bonge and Curtis Thompson. The kiosk is located near the west end of the bridge leading into ONP. It will be available for Prairie Plains Resource Institute to provide information about ONP and other conservation projects. Miles is a member of Boy Scout Troop #155, and other members and leaders assisted. The project started in May of 2008, and the structure required 240 hours of labor to build. Miles is a senior at Boone Central High School and the son of Todd and Amber Wynn of Albion.
