Chris Mauch stays on the move with his new Mobile Welding business in the Albion area.
Originally from west central Iowa, Chris came by his trade the old-fashioned way. He learned it from his father. “My dad was a welder, and his dad before him was a welder, so I naturally picked up the trade,” he said.
Chris started the new business in August 2009, and has been joined in Mobile Welding by Dave Timmons, who is originally from Wheeler County. In November, they completed their largest single project — new continuous fencing pens, sorting and load-out facilities at the Wagonhammer Feedlot northeast of Albion.
