AEDC, Chamber approve plan to share director, office space

A plan to share a full-time director, as well as office space and equipment, has received preliminary approval by the boards of directors of the Albion Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) and the Albion Chamber of Commerce (ACC).

Key to the plan will be a full-time administrator or director, who would be responsible for day-to-day duties benefiting both organizations.

The advantages of full-time representation are obvious in communities and organizations around the state, said Doug Young, AEDC president. The most progressive communities have full-time representation for their business communities, he said.
