Darrell W. Grapes

Darrell W. Grapes, Colonel, USAF (Ret), age 69, of Springboro, OH, died Feb. 8, 2010. In lieu of a funeral, Darrell has donated his remains as an Anatomical Gift to the School of Medicine at Wright State University, Dayton, OH. A service celebrating Darrell’s life will be held on a date to be announced.  Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to a charity of your choice in Darrell’s memory.

Helen M. Austin

Helen Marie Austin, 72, of York, died on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at her home. Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 8 at 10:30 a.m. at the  United Church of Christ, Albion. Rev. Veronica E. Ray

Veronica E. Ray, 75, of Spalding died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 at the Friendship Villa in Spalding. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Spalding. Rev. Don Buhrman officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery.

William “Bill” Wiese

William “Bill” Theodore Wiese, 89, of Columbus died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at Columbus Community Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Columbus. Interment was held at St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Columbus with Military Honors by Hartman Post #84 American Legion Honor Guard. Memorials are suggested to St. Bonaventure Catholic Church or to Scotus Central Catholic.
