Albion Citizens Advisory Committee last Wednesday gave its approval to a request for funding part of the cost to provide a full-time director and office space for the Albion Economic Development Corp. (AEDC) and Albion Chamber of Commerce.
AEDC requested $27,000 in city sales tax funds for 60 percent of the cost of a shared administrative office for both organizations through the remainder of 2010.
The request was scheduled to come before the Albion City Council for final approval at its meeting Tuesday night, Feb. 9.
