BC Cheerleaders Perform, Set To Host Competition

The Boone Central cheerleaders performed a dance routine at halftime of the Cardinals’ state tournament game vs. Lutheran High NE at Lincoln’s Pershing Auditorium March 4. The Cardinal cheerleaders, under the direction of sponsor Ashley Walla, have performed in competitions during the year and will host the 1st Annual Boone Central Dance Competition Saturday, March 20, at the Boone Central Middle School in Petersburg. Also competing will be cheerleader/dance teams from Pope John and Newman Grove. Performances will begin at 10 a.m. Boone Central 2009-10 cheerleaders are Allison Hemmer, Amanda Lipker, Devon Doelder, Jaimie Schmitz, Kelli Larson, Britta Moerchen, Ronda Metz, Evan Meysenburg, JoLynn Mescher, Shaylee Borer, Shelby Benda, Sydney Bremer and Taylor Iverson.
