With fire danger in the extreme category last week, several area fire departments were busy with field and grass fires.
Above, Albion firemen were called to extinguish a field fire Wednesday, April 1, west of town. On Sunday, they were called to a grass fire east of town.
Petersburg Fire Department also battled a field fire east of the community on April 1.
