A bright future lies ahead for Boone County Health Center.
That was the assessment of State Sen. Kate Sullivan and other speakers at an open house for the Health Center’s new patient care addition Sunday, June 27.
“This is a wonderful facility with state of the art technology for the people of Boone County and the entire area,” said Sen. Sullivan.
The hospital unveiled the 12 new patient rooms in its new addition to more than 250 people who attended the open house.
Vic Lee, hospital administrator and C.E.O., pointed out that the new wing represents the major portion of the current construction phase, but there is more to be done.
