Albion has action-packed July 4 weekend

Albion had an action-packed weekend leading up to Independence Day on Sunday, July 4. The community fireworks display provided colorful entertainment for an appreciative audience at the fairgrounds grandstand on Friday night, July 2. The big fireworks show was sponsored by the City of Albion with pledges and donations of more than $6,000 from local businesses, individuals and organizations. Another highlight was the Gateway to the Sandhills Bullride on Saturday night, July 3. Bulls were bucking and cowboys were flying for a large crowd at the fairgrounds.
