Nebraska Public Power District announced this week that two public hearings will be held July 29 on the proposed route for its Petersburg-to-Ericson power transmission line.
Open houses and hearings are scheduled at Bartlett and Albion.
At Bartlett, the open house will be held from 12 noon to 1 p.m., followed by the formal hearing from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Wheeler Central High School old gym.
At Albion, the open house will be from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by the formal hearing from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Casey Building on the Boone County Fairgrounds.
