Members of the Petersburg Community Club discussed the next upcoming event, Bash in the Burg, at their Monday, Aug. 2 meeting.
The Bash is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 14, with a Barbecue Challenge, Brew Competition for wine and beer, casino games, kids activities and a street dance. Volunteers will be needed to help stage the second annual event.
The committee held its final meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 4.
“We have already received some entries for the barbecue cookoff,” said Radene Temme.
