Antique and horse-drawn farm machinery will be featured in the 28th annual Nebraska State Antique Tractor & Horse Plowing Bee on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 28-29, near Petersburg.
The event is sponsored annually by the Rae Valley Heritage Association at the Charlie Huisman farm west of Petersburg.
Attractions will include steam engines, gas engines, shingle and saw mills, antique tractors and operating antique machinery.
The 23rd annual stock antique tractor pull will be held on Saturday at 12 p.m.
The events will include antique parades, a tractor pull, open music jam and dance, a consignment auction, a Civil War living history demonstration, working blacksmith, authentic working displays, flea market antiques.
