All wind towers are ‘topped off’

Erection of all 54 towers has been completed at the Laredo Ridge Wind Farm northeast of Petersburg.

James Blount, site construction manager, said the project contractor, Wanzek Construction, completed the last tower by Monday, Nov. 1.

Blount noted that there is still plenty of work to do on the project, but the completion of tower erection is a significant milestone.
