Jerry Grundmayer of Hastings was a repeat winner of the Giant Pumpkin Contest sponsored by Leifeld’s Hardware in conjunction with last Sunday’s Punkin’ Chunkin’ at Petersburg. This year’s top entry weighed 765 pounds. Above, Grundmayer receives his first place trophy from Jim and Jennifer Leifeld.
