Although it was obviously a difficult season for a young, inexperienced Boone Central volleyball team, the 2010 campaign provided a great amount of experience for many young players.
The Cardinals finished the varsity season with a 3-20 record, defeating Madison in the opening round of the sub-district tournament before losing to Battle Creek.
Two Boone Central players – junior Jenna Lehmann and freshman Jade Gottier – received Honorable Mention in Mid-State All-Conference voting. Lehmann led the Cardinals in kills (96) and blocks (16) and was among leaders in ace serves (22) and digs (58). Gottier was the team leader by a wide margin in digs (149) and also led in serve receptions (196) and aces (37). She was second in kills (63).
