Good Samaritan Society – Albion is reporting excellent progress toward reaching its fund-raising goal to build a new 20-bed rehabilitation and skilled care win at Wolf Memorial Home in Albion.
With a donation of $10,000 from Valero Renewable Fuels, Albion, on Monday, Nov. 22, the fund drive total now stands at $575,102, or more than 75 percent of the $750,000 goal.
The local contributions, if raised by the end of 2010, are being matched dollar-for-dollar up to $750,000 by a campaign supporter. All current and pledged gifts received by Dec. 31, 2010 will be matched up to that amount.
