A recent gift to help build infrastructure in the City of Albion was acknowledged by the Boone County Area Foundation Fund during its annual banquet last Sunday, Jan. 9, at the Albion Country Club.
Jay Wolf, foundation chairman, announced that Mitzi Fox of Albion had presented a gift of more than $266,000 to the foundation.
The gift is designated to be used for construction of a new swimming pool or a new public library for the City of Albion. If neither of these projects is built within the next five years, the funds can become part of the foundation’s permanent endowment.
