Galen ‘Bruce’ Bartels

Dr. Galen ‘Bruce’ Bartels, 80 of Albion, a long-time professor and administrator at Chadron State College, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011 at the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center in Albion. Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 20, at Zion Lutheran Church in Albion. Interment followed at Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Beatrice. Arthur D. “Art” Hart, 81, of St. Paul died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at the Greeley Care Home in Greeley. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 31 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery in Wolbach.
