A group of 12 school patrons and parents met with the Boone Central School Board Monday night, April 4, to discuss the possible activities co-op with Newman Grove Public School.
Superintendent Cory Worrell reviewed the discussion process between administrators and boards of the two schools, which began with initial contacts in January.
Parents discussed logistics and travel time for junior high students, enrollment projections and various other topics.
A co-op for junior high sports next year would likely lead to a two-year commitment for a co-op in high school sports between the two schools.
