Finances are struggle for Albion Senior Center

As the Albion Senior Center looks back to a year ago, not much has changed financially. It continues the struggle to stay afloat.

The number of people who use the center needs to increase, as well as the amount of funds coming into the facility, according to manager LeAnn Lindgren.

The center has fallen short of meeting its financial goals each month.

This shortage is happening due to a variety of reasons, but most directly due to decreased funding from the Northeast Area Agency on Aging (NEAAA) and the decline in the number of people who use the center for meals.

More details in the June 1 Albion News Print and Electronic Editions.
