LaVern Joseph Stuhr, 77, of Elgin, died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at the Norfolk Veterans Home in Norfolk. Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, Aug. 11 at St. Boniface Church in Elgin. Interment followed at St. Patrick Cemetery near Clearwater with Military Rites by American Legion Post 229 and VFW Post 5816 of Elgin.
