Wesley Stokes of Petersburg became the new owner/operator of the Albion Livestock Market on Aug. 8.
Wes is the son of Russ and Ev Stokes, and grandson of Walt and Deanna Stokes, all of Petersburg. He has been around cattle his whole life and currently raises cattle with his parents and grandparents.
Wes is married to Jenna and has a 12-year-old stepdaughter, Aubrey, and a one-year-old daughter, Remi. He is a 2001 graduate of Petersburg High School and received his bachelors degree in agronomy from UNL.
