Lehmann, Gottier Mid-State Volleyball Honorable Mention

Boone Central senior Jenna Lehmann and sophomore Jade Gottier received Mid-State all-conference honorable mention in voting by league coaches last week.
Lehmann and Gottier were the leading attackers and defenders for the Cardinals during a 3-21 2011 season.
Lehmann topped Boone Central in kills with 170, averaging 2.46 per game. She was the team leader in hitting efficiency at .113. The 6-foot-2 senior was also far-and-away Boone Central’s block leader, with 30 solo and 26 assisted.
Gottier led the Cardinals in digs during the past season with 215, an average of 3.12 per game. She was second to Lehmann in kills with 130 (1.88 per game) while hitting .061. Gottier also topped the squad in service aces with 22.
